WHY KEBBI GOV IS BACKING TINUBU’S RE-ELECTION — AIDE
An aide to Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris has explained why the governor is mobilising support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid, saying the administration believes the state has benefited significantly from the Federal Government’s policies and interventions.
The aide said the governor’s endorsement is based on what he described as visible federal projects, improved collaboration between the state and the Federal Government, and ongoing efforts to address developmental challenges in Kebbi.
According to him, the Tinubu administration has demonstrated commitment to infrastructure development, agriculture, security, and economic reforms that are expected to deliver long-term benefits to the state and the country.
He noted that the governor’s decision reflects confidence in the President’s leadership and the belief that continuity would help consolidate ongoing programmes and attract more federal investments to Kebbi.
The aide also urged residents to continue supporting government initiatives aimed at improving livelihoods, expanding economic opportunities, and strengthening security across the state.
He maintained that the governor remains focused on delivering his campaign promises while working closely with the Federal Government to accelerate development and improve the welfare of citizens.
The aide expressed optimism that sustained cooperation between Kebbi State and the Federal Government would contribute to greater progress and national development in the years ahead.
