ATIKU SLAMS FG OVER KADUNA KILLINGS

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has criticised the Federal Government over the recent killings in Kaduna State, calling for urgent and decisive action to tackle the country’s worsening security challenges.
Atiku expressed concern over the loss of lives, describing the attacks as tragic and unacceptable. He urged the government to do more to protect citizens and prevent further violence in affected communities.
The former presidential candidate said the recurring attacks highlight the need for a comprehensive overhaul of Nigeria’s security architecture to improve intelligence gathering, rapid response, and coordination among security agencies.
He also called for those responsible for the killings to be identified, arrested, and prosecuted, stressing that ending impunity is essential to restoring public confidence in the nation’s security system.
According to Atiku, safeguarding the lives and property of Nigerians remains the primary responsibility of government, adding that stronger measures are needed to address insecurity across the country.
He extended his condolences to the families of the victims and the people of Kaduna State, praying for the peaceful repose of those who lost their lives and speedy recovery for the injured.
Atiku urged the Federal Government, security agencies, and all stakeholders to work together to end the cycle of violence and ensure lasting peace in Kaduna and other affected parts of the country.
