KEYAMO GROUNDS AIRCRAFT, ORDERS FULL PROBE OVER UNAUTHORIZED LANDING NEAR ASABA

Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has ordered an immediate investigation into an aircraft that allegedly carried out an unauthorized landing near Asaba, Delta State.
In a swift response to the incident, the minister directed aviation authorities to ground the aircraft pending the outcome of a comprehensive probe into the circumstances surrounding the landing.
Keyamo described the development as a serious safety and security concern, stressing that all aviation regulations must be strictly adhered to by operators.
The minister also instructed relevant agencies to determine whether established flight procedures were breached and to identify all individuals involved in the incident.
Aviation authorities are expected to examine flight records, operational approvals, and communications related to the aircraft’s movements.
