DEMOCRACY DAY: APC LEADERS HAIL DEMOCRACY AS NIGERIA’S GREATEST STRENGTH

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and governors elected on the party’s platform have described democracy as Nigeria’s greatest strength and the foundation of national unity, stability, and progress.
In separate Democracy Day messages, the party leaders praised Nigerians for their commitment to democratic governance, noting that the country has continued to deepen its democratic institutions despite numerous challenges.
They emphasized that democracy remains the best path for resolving differences, promoting inclusive development, and ensuring that citizens have a voice in the affairs of government.
According to the APC leaders, the June 12 anniversary serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by pro-democracy activists and the need to protect the gains of democratic rule.
The governors also called on Nigerians to remain united, law-abiding, and committed to strengthening democratic values, transparency, and accountability at all levels of governance.
They expressed optimism about the nation’s future, insisting that continued support for democratic institutions would help drive peace, economic growth, and national development.
