Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has strongly criticised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, declaring that what he described as the administrationโ€™s โ€œtenure of propagandaโ€ is gradually coming to an end.
Atiku made the remarks while reacting to recent political and economic developments in the country, accusing the Federal Government of failing to adequately address the challenges facing Nigerians.
According to the former presidential candidate, many citizens are becoming increasingly frustrated over economic hardship, insecurity and rising living costs despite repeated government assurances.
He alleged that the administration has relied heavily on public relations and political messaging instead of delivering meaningful improvements to the lives of ordinary Nigerians.
The comments have intensified political exchanges between opposition figures and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) as preparations for the 2027 general elections continue to gather momentum.
Supporters of the ruling party, however, insist that the Tinubu administration is implementing necessary reforms aimed at stabilising the economy and improving long-term national development.
Political observers say attacks and counter-attacks between major political figures are expected to increase as opposition parties and ruling party stakeholders position themselves ahead of future elections.
Atiku remains one of the leading opposition voices in Nigeriaโ€™s political landscape and has continued to criticise government policies and economic reforms.
The latest remarks have generated widespread reactions across political and social media circles nationwide.
