TINUBU SUPPORT GROUPS BEGIN GRASSROOTS MOBILISATION

Two support groups backing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu have opened discussions on a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
The groups — the Renewed Hope Agenda Continuity Marshals (REHACMA) and Tinubu Torch Bearers (TTB) — said the proposed collaboration would focus on mobilising youths, women and Nigerians generally in support of Tinubu’s re-election bid.
The development followed a visit by officials of the Tinubu Torch Bearers to the REHACMA office in Abuja on Thursday, where both organisations discussed possible areas of cooperation, including joint programmes, events and grassroots engagements.
Receiving the delegation, REHACMA Founder and National Coordinator, Rt. Hon. Osawemwenhio Uwagboe, said the organisation was ready to work with groups and individuals that share its vision.
“REHACMA is always willing to partner with sister organisations and individuals who share our vision,” Uwagboe said.
He also commended the leadership of Dr Mary Alile Idele, APC National Women Leader and Convener of TTB, describing her as committed to inclusive politics.
Uwagboe further praised what he described as the President’s youth-focused policies, stressing the need for sustained sensitisation and wider public engagement.
“President Tinubu’s youth-focused policies deserve sustained sensitisation and wider public engagement,” he said.
Responding, TTB Director of Administration, Olivia Lonngren, expressed the group’s readiness to work with REHACMA.
Lonngren commended the leadership and organisational drive of REHACMA, saying the proposed partnership could strengthen engagement with youths, women and Nigerians across the country.
According to the groups, the proposed partnership could include joint events, advocacy initiatives, sensitisation programmes and other grassroots activities.
Both organisations agreed to continue consultations towards finalising the structure and framework for the proposed partnership.
The development marks another grassroots mobilisation effort by groups supporting Tinubu as political activities gradually intensify ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
