EVERYBODY LOVES JENIFA’ IS MY MOST EXPENSIVE FILM — FUNKE AKINDELE
Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has revealed that Everybody Loves Jenifa is the most expensive movie she has produced.
Akindele attributed the high production cost to filming across Ghana and Nigeria, as well as the logistics involved in transporting cast and crew between the two countries.
She explained that coordinating production across different locations significantly increased expenses, making the project more demanding financially than her previous films.
Despite the huge investment, the filmmaker’s statement highlights the growing scale of Nollywood productions and the increasing costs of delivering ambitious movie projects.
