NO RIGGING WILL SUCCEED IN ABIA, SAYS LP REPS CANDIDATE

Labour Party House of Representatives candidate, China Anyaso, has declared that no form of election rigging will succeed in Abia State during the 2027 general elections, expressing confidence in the resolve of the people to protect their votes.
Anyaso said the electorate is becoming more aware of the importance of credible elections and will resist any attempt to undermine the democratic process through manipulation or intimidation.
He assured supporters that every lawful vote must count, stressing that measures would be taken to encourage peaceful participation and safeguard the integrity of the electoral process.
The Labour Party candidate also called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies to remain impartial and ensure that the election is conducted in a free, fair, and transparent manner.
According to him, credible elections are essential for strengthening democracy, promoting accountability, and ensuring that leaders truly reflect the will of the people.
Anyaso urged eligible voters to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), participate actively in the electoral process, and reject all forms of electoral violence and vote-buying.
He reaffirmed his commitment to democratic principles, expressing optimism that Abia State would witness a peaceful and credible election in 2027 where the people’s mandate would be respected.
