DLA presidential candidate Moses Adebisi, 35, has declared his ambition to become Nigeria’s youngest president in the 2027 general election.
Adebisi said he is determined to challenge the established political order and offer Nigerians a different approach to leadership.
The candidate is positioning himself as a representative of Nigeria’s younger generation, arguing that young people should have a stronger voice in the country’s political leadership.
He is expected to campaign on issues affecting young Nigerians, including employment, education, economic opportunities, good governance and national development.
Adebisi’s declaration comes as political activities ahead of the 2027 presidential election continue to intensify, with several candidates and political groups already beginning to mobilise support.
The 35-year-old candidate will face competition from established political figures, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is seeking another term in office.
Adebisi expressed confidence in his ability to connect with voters and persuade Nigerians to support his vision for the country.
He said his age should not be viewed as a limitation, stressing that younger leaders can bring fresh ideas and a different perspective to governance.
His ambition adds another dimension to the growing contest for Nigeria’s presidency ahead of the 2027 election.
