ADELEKE VOWS TO UNITE OSUN AFTER ELECTION
Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has pledged to heal political divisions and unite residents following his re-election victory.
Speaking as the state marks its 35th anniversary, Adeleke said his administration would focus on bringing people together and promoting peace across Osun.
The governor called on residents to put the tension and divisions associated with the election behind them and work together for the progress of the state.
He said his administration would continue to pursue policies and programmes aimed at improving the lives of residents, regardless of their political affiliations.
Adeleke also appealed to political leaders and stakeholders to support efforts to build a peaceful and united Osun.
The governor’s pledge comes shortly after the governorship election, which was closely contested by the major political parties.
He said the state’s anniversary provides an opportunity for residents to reflect on Osun’s journey and look ahead with renewed hope and unity.
Adeleke assured residents that his administration would remain committed to good governance and the development of the state.
