Minister of Works David Umahi has called for another four-year term for President Bola Tinubu, saying more time is needed to complete ongoing road projects across Nigeria.
Umahi’s appeal comes as the Federal Government continues to highlight infrastructure development as a major priority of the Tinubu administration.
The minister has repeatedly emphasised the importance of completing ongoing road projects to improve transportation, ease the movement of goods and people, and support economic activities.
Road construction and rehabilitation remain key components of the government’s infrastructure agenda, with several projects planned or underway across different parts of the country.
Umahi’s remarks also come amid growing political discussions ahead of the 2027 general election, as supporters of the administration make the case for continuity.
However, the completion of ongoing projects will depend on funding, construction progress and other implementation factors.
