UBA URGES NIGERIA, BRAZIL TO DEEPEN TRADE TIES
The Group Managing Director of United Bank for Africa (UBA), Oliver Alawuba, has called for stronger trade and investment relations between Nigeria and Brazil.
Alawuba highlighted opportunities for increased economic cooperation between both countries, particularly in key sectors capable of supporting trade, investment and job creation.
He said stronger business ties between Nigeria and Brazil could create opportunities for companies in both countries to expand their markets and establish new partnerships.
The UBA GMD also stressed the importance of financial institutions in facilitating cross-border transactions, supporting investors and helping businesses take advantage of opportunities in the two markets.
He noted that closer economic cooperation could further strengthen commercial relations and promote sustainable growth.
The call comes amid ongoing efforts by businesses and policymakers to expand Nigeria’s international trade partnerships and attract investment into key sectors of the economy.
UBA said it remains committed to supporting businesses seeking to explore opportunities in Nigeria, Brazil and other international markets.
