PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN COUNCIL LIST TO BE ADJUSTED, NOT REVIEWED — PRESIDENCY

The Presidency has clarified that the list of members of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 Presidential Campaign Council will be adjusted rather than reviewed.
The clarification comes amid reports and speculation over possible changes to the campaign structure as preparations for the 2027 general elections gather momentum.
According to the Presidency, any changes to the list are expected to be adjustments aimed at ensuring the campaign structure functions effectively.
The clarification is also expected to settle concerns over reports of possible major changes to the council and the roles of individuals already listed.
The Tinubu administration and the All Progressives Congress (APC) have continued preparations for the 2027 presidential election, with political mobilisation and consultations taking place across the country.
The campaign council is expected to play a key role in coordinating the President’s re-election campaign, mobilising supporters and communicating the administration’s achievements to voters.
The Presidency has therefore stressed that the planned adjustments should not be interpreted as a complete review or overhaul of the campaign council.
