MAKINDE REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO QUALITY EDUCATION AS OYO SCHOOLS RESUME
Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to providing quality education as schools across the state resume for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Makinde said his government would continue to prioritise the education sector and create an environment that supports effective teaching and learning.
The governor stressed the importance of investing in schools, teachers and other educational resources to improve learning outcomes for students across the state.
He also encouraged students to take their studies seriously and urged teachers and school administrators to remain committed to their responsibilities.
The resumption marks the beginning of the new academic session, with schools across Oyo State expected to commence regular academic activities.
The state government said it would continue to support initiatives aimed at improving the standard of education and ensuring better learning opportunities for students.
