Businessman Abdulrahman Haske has resigned from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and joined the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) ahead of the 2027 Adamawa State governorship election.
Haske has also emerged as the APM’s governorship candidate for the 2027 election in the state.
His move marks his departure from the APC, where he was previously a member, as political activities continue to gather momentum ahead of the next general elections.
The businessman is expected to begin mobilisation and campaign activities under the APM as the party prepares for the Adamawa governorship contest.
The development adds another candidate to the growing field of politicians positioning themselves for the 2027 governorship election in Adamawa State.
Political parties and their candidates are expected to intensify consultations and grassroots mobilisation as the election draws closer.
