GOV ASPIRANT’S SUPPORTERS DUMP HIM, DECLARE TOTAL SUPPORT FOR YAYI

Fresh political drama has erupted in Ogun State as leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Tube Ward, Ipokia Local Government Area, publicly distanced themselves from the position of governorship aspirant, Abayomi Hunye.
The party members declared unwavering support for the outcome of the APC governorship primary and the emergence of Senator Solomon Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, as the party’s consensus candidate.
According to the ward leaders, the decision reached by the party leadership must be respected, stressing that attempts to challenge the process could undermine party unity ahead of future elections.
They insisted that any grievances arising from the primary should be addressed through established internal party mechanisms rather than public campaigns against the outcome.
The development is seen as a significant boost for Yayi’s camp as political alignments continue to take shape ahead of the Ogun governorship contest.
