EKITI 2026: APC PLANS MASSIVE RALLY TO PROVE OYEBANJI’S DOMINANCE

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council has announced plans for a mega rally in Ekiti State, saying the event will demonstrate the overwhelming support enjoyed by Governor Biodun Oyebanji ahead of the 2026 governorship election.
According to the council, the rally is expected to attract party leaders, stakeholders, supporters, youth groups, and grassroots mobilisers from across the state.
Party officials said the gathering will serve as a show of strength and unity, highlighting public backing for Oyebanji’s bid for a second term in office.
The campaign council maintained that the governor’s achievements in infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, and economic development have earned him widespread acceptance among Ekiti residents.
It also expressed confidence that the APC remains firmly positioned to retain power in the state, citing the governor’s performance and growing support base.
The planned rally comes as political activities begin to intensify ahead of the 2026 governorship contest, with parties and aspirants stepping up consultations and mobilisation efforts.
