BWALA LISTS FG’S STRATEGIES TO END INSURGENCY, KIDNAPPING
Presidential spokesperson Daniel Bwala has outlined the Federal Government’s strategies to tackle insurgency, banditry, and kidnapping, saying the Tinubu administration is implementing a comprehensive approach to restore security across Nigeria.
Bwala said the government’s strategy combines strengthened military operations, enhanced intelligence gathering, improved inter-agency collaboration, and the deployment of modern technology to combat criminal activities.
He also highlighted the ongoing recruitment of additional personnel into the armed forces and other security agencies, noting that increasing manpower is critical to addressing emerging security challenges nationwide.
According to him, the Federal Government is investing in advanced surveillance equipment, intelligence-sharing systems, and logistical support to improve the operational effectiveness of security forces.
Bwala added that the administration is working closely with state governments, local communities, and regional stakeholders to strengthen grassroots intelligence and deny criminal groups safe havens.
He maintained that the government remains committed to protecting lives and property while intensifying efforts to dismantle terrorist networks, bandit camps, and kidnapping syndicates operating across the country.
The presidential spokesperson expressed confidence that the combined security measures would significantly reduce violent crimes and improve public safety, urging Nigerians to continue supporting security agencies by providing credible information.
