BREAKING: GUNMEN KIDNAP EX-MINISTER ADELABU’S SISTER, CHILDREN IN IBADAN
Gunmen have reportedly kidnapped the sister and twin children of former Minister of Power and Oyo APC governorship aspirant, Bayo Adelabu, in Ibadan, Oyo State.
According to reports, the victims were abducted on Wednesday morning at the Elewura area of Challenge, Ibadan, by heavily armed men.
Confirming the incident, Adelabu’s media aide, Femi Awogboro, disclosed that the former minister’s younger sister and her twin children, identified as Peter and Paul, were taken away by the kidnappers during the attack.
The incident has sparked fresh panic and outrage among residents, especially amid rising insecurity and recent kidnapping cases across parts of Oyo State.
Security operatives are said to have launched efforts to rescue the victims and track down the abductors, while residents continue to express concern over the worsening security situation in the state capital.
