The African Action Congress (AAC) has declared that ongoing legal challenges and what it describes as political persecution will not stop Omoyele Sowore from pursuing his 2027 presidential ambition.
The party rallied supporters behind its leader, insisting that attempts to intimidate or discourage him would only strengthen his resolve to continue advocating for political reforms and good governance.
AAC officials condemned the recent arrest order against Sowore, describing it as an attack on democratic freedoms and the rights of opposition voices in the country.
According to the party, Sowore remains committed to his political vision and will continue engaging Nigerians on issues of accountability, transparency, and social justice despite mounting pressure.
The party called on its members and supporters nationwide to remain united and focused ahead of future political contests, stressing that no amount of intimidation would derail its objectives.
The development has sparked reactions across the political landscape as debates continue over the relationship between opposition politics, free speech, and the rule of law in Nigeria.
