FIRST LADY LAUNCHES TINUBU TORCHBEARERS, RALLIES WOMEN

Nigeria’s First Lady has officially launched the “Tinubu Torchbearers” initiative as part of efforts to mobilise support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his administration.
Speaking at the event, the First Lady called on women across the country to unite and actively participate in nation-building, political engagement, and grassroots mobilisation.
She praised Nigerian women for their resilience and contributions to national development, while urging them to support policies aimed at economic growth, stability, and family welfare.
Political observers say the launch of the group may signal early grassroots preparations ahead of the 2027 general elections, especially as political activities continue to intensify nationwide.
The gathering attracted party loyalists, women groups, and supporters from different parts of the country.
