𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐠𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐬, 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐎𝐠𝐮𝐧

Southern governors and traditional rulers are set to meet on Wednesday in Iperu, Ogun State, to deliberate on critical national and regional issues.

The meeting, hosted by Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, will bring together leaders from all 17 southern states alongside prominent royal fathers. Discussions will focus on enhancing regional security, boosting economic cooperation, and fostering joint infrastructure development across the South.

Officials say the forum will also review progress from previous engagements and explore strategies for a unified stance on national policies affecting the southern states.

At the end of the meeting, a joint communiqué is expected to highlight agreed actions and collaborative initiatives to strengthen regional governance and development.
