TINUBU 2027: S’EAST APC REJECTS WIKE’S ‘RAINBOW COALITION’, BACKS GOVS
The South-East chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has rejected the proposed “rainbow coalition” associated with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The party’s position was reportedly disclosed as political parties and groups continue to align and strategise ahead of the elections.
The South-East APC said it remained committed to the party’s structures and leadership in the region, while expressing support for the governors in the zone.
The group maintained that political decisions affecting the region should be pursued through established party structures and consultations with relevant stakeholders.
