Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has urged people across the North-West to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s bid for re-election in the 2027 general elections.
Sani said the region should recognise what he described as the benefits it has received from the Tinubu administration and reciprocate with electoral support.
The governor highlighted federal government interventions and development projects in the North-West, arguing that continued support for Tinubu would allow the administration to consolidate its programmes.
He called on political leaders, party members and supporters across the region to mobilise at the grassroots and work together ahead of the 2027 election.
Sani’s comments come as the All Progressives Congress (APC) intensifies preparations for the next presidential election, with governors and other party leaders beginning mobilisation efforts across the country.
The governor also urged APC stakeholders to maintain unity and focus on strengthening the party’s structures ahead of the poll.
The call adds to growing political campaigns for Tinubu’s re-election, as opposition parties and political groups also begin building their own alliances and mobilisation networks ahead of 2027.
