FG REAFFIRMS PARTNERSHIP WITH TARABA

The Federal Government has reaffirmed its commitment to working with the Taraba State Government to unlock the state’s economic potential.
The government identified agriculture, energy, tourism and other key sectors as areas with significant opportunities for investment, job creation and economic growth.
The Federal Government said stronger collaboration with Taraba would help attract investments, improve infrastructure and create an enabling environment for businesses to thrive.
Taraba is endowed with extensive agricultural resources, mineral deposits and tourist attractions, including its diverse landscapes and natural sites.
The government stressed the importance of developing these resources sustainably while ensuring that the people of the state benefit from increased economic activities.
It also encouraged greater cooperation between federal and state authorities to remove barriers to investment and accelerate development projects.
The partnership is expected to support efforts to diversify the economy, create employment opportunities and improve the livelihoods of residents.
The Federal Government said it remains committed to supporting Taraba in harnessing its resources and positioning the state as an important contributor to Nigeria’s economic development.
