EDO DEPUTY GOV URGES MUSLIMS TO EMBRACE PEACE, UNITY

Edo State Deputy Governor Dennis Idahosa has felicitated with Muslims across the state as they celebrate Eid-ul-Mawlid, urging them to embrace peace, unity, compassion and peaceful coexistence.
Idahosa encouraged Muslims to reflect on the teachings and virtues associated with the life of Prophet Muhammad, particularly his emphasis on kindness, tolerance, humility and concern for others.
The Deputy Governor called on residents to promote unity and mutual respect regardless of religious or ethnic differences, stressing that peaceful coexistence is essential for the development of Edo State.
He also urged Muslims to use the occasion to strengthen their commitment to helping the less privileged and supporting vulnerable members of society.
Idahosa extended his goodwill to Muslim leaders, families and communities across Edo, wishing them a peaceful and meaningful celebration.
He reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to promoting harmony among people of different faiths and backgrounds.
The Deputy Governor said the values of peace, compassion and unity remain important in building a stronger and more prosperous Edo State.
