TINUBU OUTPERFORMED PAST PRESIDENTS IN FIRST TERM — APC SCRIBE

The National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Felix Morka, has said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has performed better than previous Nigerian presidents during their first terms in office.
Morka attributed what he described as the administration’s achievements to the economic reforms and policies introduced since Tinubu assumed office.
He said the government’s measures were designed to reposition the Nigerian economy, improve revenue generation and create a stronger foundation for sustainable growth.
The APC scribe acknowledged that the reforms have come with challenges for Nigerians but argued that the administration’s overall performance should be assessed based on its economic and policy outcomes.
According to him, Tinubu’s government has taken difficult decisions that previous administrations avoided, particularly in areas affecting Nigeria’s fiscal and economic structure.
Morka also highlighted what he described as progress in infrastructure, economic management and other sectors, insisting that the administration’s achievements compare favourably with those of previous governments.
His comments come as the APC continues to promote the achievements of the Tinubu administration ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The opposition has, however, continued to criticise the government’s economic policies, particularly over the rising cost of living and the impact of fuel subsidy removal on households.
Morka maintained that the government’s reforms should be judged within the context of the challenges it inherited and the long-term objectives of its policies.
