APC DIASPORA CHIEFTAIN LAUDS ADELEKE’S ₦500M FUND FOR ELECTION VICTIMS
An APC chieftain in the diaspora has commended Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke for approving a ₦500 million relief fund for victims of the recently concluded governorship election.
The APC chieftain described the initiative as a commendable step towards supporting residents affected by violence, destruction and other losses recorded during the electoral process.
According to him, providing assistance to victims demonstrates a commitment to reconciliation and healing after a highly contested election.
He urged the state government to ensure that the funds are distributed transparently and reach the genuine victims, regardless of their political affiliations.
The chieftain also called on political leaders and supporters across the state to put the election behind them and work together to restore peace and strengthen unity in Osun.
The ₦500 million intervention is expected to provide financial assistance to people who suffered losses during the election and support their recovery.
He further praised Adeleke for what he described as an inclusive approach to governance, urging the governor to continue prioritising the welfare of all residents.
The development comes as Osun begins to move beyond the election and focus on reconciliation, governance and development.
