ADELEKE WARNS CORPS MEMBERS AGAINST POLITICAL INFLUENCE
Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has urged members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to remain neutral, professional, and committed to their electoral responsibilities ahead of the state’s forthcoming governorship election.
The governor cautioned corps members against allowing themselves to be influenced, intimidated, or manipulated by politicians, political parties, or other interested groups during the electoral process.
According to Adeleke, the credibility of the election depends largely on the integrity, fairness, and professionalism of officials assigned to perform election duties.
He encouraged corps members to uphold the principles of neutrality, transparency, and accountability, stressing that their role is vital to ensuring a free, fair, and credible poll.
The governor also assured them of adequate security and support while carrying out their responsibilities, urging them to remain focused on serving the nation with integrity.
His remarks come as political activities intensify across Osun State ahead of the election, with stakeholders calling for peaceful conduct and strict adherence to electoral guidelines.
