DAVIDO HAD NO ROLE IN NAIRA MARLEY-MOHBAD SAGA – ISRAEL DMW

Israel Afeare, popularly known as Israel DMW, personal logistics manager to Afrobeats superstar Davido, has dismissed allegations linking his boss to the controversies surrounding singers Naira Marley and the late Mohbad.

Israel insisted that Davido had no involvement in the dispute, describing attempts to associate the singer with the controversy as unfounded.

The clarification comes amid renewed discussions surrounding the relationship between Naira Marley and Mohbad, whose death in September 2023 sparked widespread public outrage and demands for justice.

Mohbad, formerly signed to Marlian Records, had reportedly experienced disagreements with the record label before his death.

The circumstances surrounding his death triggered investigations, police questioning and intense public scrutiny of several individuals associated with him, including Naira Marley and his associate, Sam Larry.

Davido had also faced public discussions and speculation over the controversy, prompting Israel to publicly defend his principal.

However, Israel maintained that the award-winning singer had no role in the issues involving the late Mohbad and Naira Marley.

The controversy continues to generate reactions across social media, with Nigerians still demanding transparency and justice over the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death.
