HAMZAT UNVEILS 100-POINT MANIFESTO FOR 2027 LAGOS ELECTION
Lagos State Deputy Governor, Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, has unveiled a 100-point manifesto ahead of the 2027 governorship election, outlining proposed reforms across key sectors, including transportation, healthcare and housing.
The manifesto sets out his proposed development priorities for Lagos, with a focus on addressing challenges affecting residents and improving public services.
In the transport sector, Hamzat has promised reforms aimed at improving mobility and addressing the pressure on the state’s transport infrastructure.
On healthcare, his proposals include measures to strengthen medical services and improve access to healthcare facilities. The housing component also features plans aimed at addressing accommodation challenges and supporting the state’s growing population.
The 100-point document provides an outline of the priorities Hamzat says he would pursue if elected governor in 2027.
The unveiling comes as political activities gradually build ahead of the next Lagos governorship election, with candidates expected to present their programmes and policy proposals to voters.
