ADC ACCUSES KWANKWASO OF WORKING FOR TINUBU
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has accused former Kano State Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of working in favour of President Bola Tinubu after he called on former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar to step down for Peter Obi ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
The accusation follows growing political discussions over possible alliances and the choice of a consensus candidate to challenge Tinubu in the next general election.
Kwankwaso’s reported appeal for Atiku to make way for Obi has sparked reactions amid ongoing conversations about opposition unity and how parties could approach the 2027 contest.
The ADC’s allegation reflects disagreements over the strategy for building a strong opposition ahead of the election. However, the claim that Kwankwaso is working for Tinubu remains an accusation by the party, not an established fact.
