President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has secured the presidential ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) after polling a reported 10.99 million votes in the party’s nationwide primary election.
Party officials described the outcome as a massive endorsement of Tinubu’s leadership and a strong signal of support ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The APC leadership said the primary exercise was conducted across wards and states nationwide, with delegates and party members participating in the voting process.
