Chief of Staff to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila, has revealed that he nearly lost his position during the political crisis involving the Lagos State House of Assembly due to the alleged role played by lawmaker and actor, Desmond Elliot.
Speaking during a political gathering, Gbajabiamila claimed that developments surrounding the Assembly crisis created serious political tension that almost affected his standing within the administration.
Although he did not provide full details of the alleged role played by Desmond Elliot, the former Speaker of the House of Representatives suggested that the situation escalated to a point where his position as Chief of Staff was threatened.
