No pathway for Tinubu to return as president — Rhodes-Vivour
A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, has stated that President Bola Tinubu has no realistic path to securing re-election in the 2027 general elections.
Rhodes-Vivour made the remark while addressing political developments ahead of the next electoral cycle, arguing that current realities and public sentiment do not favour the incumbent administration.
According to him, the performance of the government, particularly in key areas such as the economy and security, will play a decisive role in shaping voter decisions.
He also suggested that opposition forces are gaining momentum and could present a strong challenge if they remain united and strategic.
The comments have added to growing political debate, with supporters of the administration and opposition figures offering contrasting views on the President’s chances in 2027.
Observers say such statements reflect increasing political positioning and rhetoric as parties and stakeholders begin to outline their strategies ahead of the elections.
