Barcelona came from behind to claim a hard-fought 2-1 victory over relegated Real Valladolid in Saturday’s LaLiga clash, extending their lead at the top of the table to seven points.

The hosts stunned the Catalan giants early on when Ivan Sanchez found the net in the 6th minute, capitalizing on a precise through ball and firing past goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen.

Barcelona struggled to respond in the first half as Valladolid’s goalkeeper André Ferreira put on a solid display, making key saves to deny Ansu Fati and Fermin Lopez.

However, the breakthrough eventually came in the 54th minute. Raphinha produced a moment of brilliance, curling in a half-volley into the bottom corner after Ferreira had parried Lamine Yamal’s cross into his path.

Fermin Lopez then sealed the comeback just six minutes later, unleashing a powerful strike from distance to hand Barça all three points.

The victory takes Barcelona to 79 points, ahead of Real Madrid who sit second and are set to face Celta Vigo on Sunday.
