Euro 2024: Schweinsteiger names player to win Golden Boot
Former Germany international Bastian Schweinsteiger has backed Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo to win the Golden Boot at Euro 2024.
The Euro 2024 starts tonight with a clash between hosts Germany and Scotland.
In a tweet on X, Schweinsteiger responded when asked about the Golden Boot winner.
He simply said, “Cristiano Euro 2024. ”
The Euro 2024 is expected to be Ronaldo’s last European championship for Portugal’s national team.
Ronaldo is already 39 years old and currently plays for Saudi Arabia club Al-Nassr.
