Carabao Cup: It’s a shame – Pochettino rules Chelsea forward out of Middlebrough clash
Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that Christopher Nkunku will not play in the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg against Middlesbrough on Tuesday.

Pochettino is under pressure to win the game after his side lost 1-0 at the Riverside Stadium two weeks ago
But he will be without Nkunku, who has only played four times since arriving from RB Leipzig last year.
Nkunku suffered a serious knee injury in pre-season, before picking up a hip problem in training over the Christmas and New Year period.
Pochettino said: “Nkunku is not available. It’s a shame. He’s still recovering.
“He suffered a little bit in his hip, now he’s recovering.
“It’s not a big issue. It just delayed the possibility of being available again.”
