Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has approved a cabinet reshuffle that saw the removal of two commissioners and the acceptance of the resignation of another member of the State Executive Council.

The changes were announced as part of the governor’s efforts to reposition his administration and improve the delivery of governance across key sectors in the state.

According to the state government, the affected commissioners have been relieved of their appointments with immediate effect, while the governor expressed appreciation for their services and contributions during their time in office.

Governor Mohammed also accepted the resignation of one commissioner and subsequently forwarded the names of new nominees to the Bauchi State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.

The administration said the reshuffle is intended to strengthen the performance of the executive council and ensure that government policies and programmes are implemented more effectively.

The governor reaffirmed his commitment to accountable governance, improved public service delivery, and the continued pursuit of development initiatives that will benefit the people of Bauchi State.

The newly nominated commissioners are expected to assume office after completing the legislative screening and confirmation process.
