2027: JIGAWA APC COMMITTEE MEETS ASPIRANTS, SUBMITS REPORT TO GOV

Jigawa State Governor, Umar Namadi, has received the report of the All Progressives Congress (APC) committee established to engage governorship and other political aspirants ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The committee was tasked with consulting party stakeholders, mediating among aspirants, and promoting unity within the APC as preparations for the next electoral cycle gather momentum.
Presenting the report, the committee said it held extensive consultations with aspirants and party leaders across the state, identifying key issues affecting party cohesion and recommending measures to strengthen internal harmony.
Governor Namadi commended the committee for its efforts, describing the report as an important step toward consolidating the party and ensuring a transparent, peaceful, and inclusive political process.
He urged APC members to remain united and place the party’s collective interest above personal ambitions, stressing that internal cohesion would be crucial to the party’s success in future elections.
The governor also assured party faithful that the recommendations would receive careful consideration and be implemented where necessary to foster greater understanding among stakeholders.
The submission of the report forms part of the APC’s ongoing efforts to resolve internal differences and build a stronger platform ahead of the 2027 general elections.
