𝗧𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗯𝘂 𝗦𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗢𝘆𝗼 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗠𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗰, 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗺𝘀’ 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗲

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has condemned the killing of a teacher during the recent school attack in Oyo State, describing the act as barbaric and unacceptable.
Reacting to the tragic incident, the President expressed sympathy to the families of the victims and assured Nigerians that security agencies had been directed to intensify operations aimed at rescuing those still in captivity.
According to the Presidency, Tinubu ordered relevant security authorities to deploy all necessary resources to ensure the safe return of the abducted victims and apprehend those responsible for the attack.
The President stressed that attacks on schools, teachers and innocent citizens would not be tolerated, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to protecting lives and improving national security.
Tinubu also commended security operatives already involved in ongoing rescue efforts while urging them to sustain pressure on criminal groups behind the attack.
The incident, which reportedly led to the abduction of several teachers and the death of one victim, has generated widespread outrage and concern across the country.
Residents, parents and community leaders have continued to demand stronger security around schools and vulnerable communities in Oyo State and other parts of Nigeria.
Security analysts say the attack once again highlights the urgent need for improved intelligence gathering, rapid response mechanisms and stronger protection of educational institutions.
The Federal Government assured Nigerians that efforts to combat insecurity and safeguard schools remain a major priority.
