The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has reiterated its commitment to full transparency and accountability in its 2025 Asset Disposal Exercise. The commission assured stakeholders that all activities would strictly follow due process, ensuring fairness and integrity.
According to the ICPC, the exercise, which involves the disposal of seized and unserviceable assets, will be conducted in a manner that maximizes value while preventing any form of favoritism or malpractice. The commission emphasized that every stage of the process would be documented and open to public scrutiny.
ICPC also highlighted its ongoing efforts to strengthen governance frameworks and public trust by adhering to legal and ethical standards in asset management. The commission called on citizens, private sector participants, and civil society organizations to actively engage and monitor the exercise to ensure it meets international best practices.
