PDP GOV CANDIDATE CONDEMNS BENUE KILLINGS

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Michael Aondoakaa, has condemned the latest killings in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State, describing the attacks as tragic and unacceptable.
Aondoakaa expressed sympathy to the families of those who lost their lives and prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured during the violent incident.
He called on the Federal Government and security agencies to intensify efforts to protect vulnerable communities and prevent further attacks across the state.
According to him, the recurring violence in Benue highlights the urgent need for a more effective security strategy that prioritises intelligence gathering, rapid response, and stronger collaboration with local communities.
The PDP candidate also appealed to the government to provide immediate medical care, relief materials, and humanitarian assistance to victims and displaced residents affected by the attack.
He urged security agencies to identify, arrest, and prosecute those responsible for the killings, stressing that perpetrators must be brought to justice to end the cycle of violence.
Aondoakaa reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote peace, security, and sustainable development, calling on all stakeholders to work together to restore stability and protect lives in Benue State.
