FUBARA COMMITTED NO SIN — WIKE

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has said Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara committed “no sin” by reconciling with his political camp, describing the move as one made in the interest of peace and stability.
Wike said reconciliation should not be viewed as a sign of weakness but as a responsible step towards ending political tensions and fostering unity in Rivers State.
According to the FCT Minister, political disagreements should not be allowed to undermine governance, adding that leaders must always prioritise the welfare and development of the people.
He maintained that the renewed understanding among political stakeholders would create a more stable environment for governance and improve cooperation within the state.
Wike also expressed support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership, saying continued collaboration among political leaders would strengthen the administration’s development agenda ahead of the 2027 general election.
The minister urged politicians to embrace dialogue, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence rather than prolonged political conflicts that could hinder progress.
He expressed optimism that the reconciliation would promote lasting peace, political stability, and accelerated development in Rivers State.
