OYO APC FIRES AT MAKINDE: ‘HIS MEDIA CHAT WAS A WASTE OF TIME’
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State has criticised Governor Seyi Makinde’s recent media chat, describing it as a “waste of time” and accusing him of failing to address key issues affecting residents.
The opposition party said the governor missed an opportunity to provide clear answers to pressing questions about governance, development and the welfare of the people.
The criticism comes amid growing political exchanges between the APC and the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State as political activities gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general election.
The APC has continued to challenge the state government over its performance, insisting that public officials should be held accountable for their policies and promises.
However, the party’s assessment represents its position as an opposition party. A detailed evaluation of the media chat would require examining the issues raised by Makinde and the responses he provided.
The exchange highlights the increasing political tension in Oyo State as parties prepare for the next electoral cycle.
