RONALDO CAN RETURN TO PORTUGAL TEAM IF HE WANTS – COACH JESUS

Portugal head coach Jorge Jesus has opened the door for Cristiano Ronaldo to return to the national team, saying the decision ultimately rests with the veteran forward.
Jesus said Ronaldo could return to the squad if he remains active at club level and decides that he wants to continue representing Portugal.
The coach also indicated that he would be willing to speak with Ronaldo ahead of Portugal’s upcoming matches, stressing that the forward should have a say in how he wants to conclude his international career.
Ronaldo has been a key figure for Portugal for many years and remains the country’s all-time leading goalscorer and most-capped player.
His absence from the latest national-team fixtures has raised questions about whether he is approaching the end of his international career.
However, Jesus’ comments suggest that the door remains open should Ronaldo decide to return.
