OBI’S BLOCKED BENUE VISIT, MEDIA BIAS UNACCEPTABLE — KEYAMO

The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has criticised the reported disruption of Peter Obi’s planned visit to Benue State, describing the incident and what he called media bias as unacceptable.
Keyamo said political disagreements should not prevent politicians from moving freely or carrying out their activities across the country.
He also criticised what he described as selective media coverage of political events, arguing that similar incidents should be reported and treated fairly regardless of the political affiliation of those involved.
The minister’s comments come amid renewed political activities and growing attention on the activities of major political figures ahead of the 2027 general elections.
