COME TO NIGER DELTA, NDDC BOSS WOOS INVESTORS
Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, has called on local and international investors to explore the vast economic opportunities available in the Niger Delta, assuring them that the region is becoming increasingly safe and conducive for business.
Ogbuku said ongoing development projects and improved collaboration between the Federal Government, state governments, security agencies, and host communities have significantly enhanced peace and stability across the region.
He noted that the Niger Delta is rich in natural resources, agriculture, tourism, energy, and maritime opportunities, making it one of Nigeria’s most promising destinations for investment.
According to the NDDC boss, the commission is implementing infrastructure and human capital development programmes aimed at creating an enabling environment for businesses to thrive.
He stressed that the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration is accelerating development in the region through strategic investments in roads, education, healthcare, electricity, and youth empowerment.
Ogbuku urged investors to take advantage of the improving business climate, assuring them of the commission’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote sustainable economic growth and job creation.
He reaffirmed the NDDC’s determination to transform the Niger Delta into a hub for investment, industrialisation, and economic prosperity, while encouraging stakeholders to partner with the commission in unlocking the region’s full potential.
