MAKINDE BEST OPPOSITION PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE, SAYS LAGOS APM

The Lagos State chapter of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has described Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde as the most suitable opposition presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections.
The party said Makinde’s record in governance, infrastructure development, education, healthcare, and economic management has distinguished him as a leader capable of providing credible national leadership.
According to the APM, the governor has demonstrated administrative competence and a commitment to inclusive governance, making him a strong contender to lead a united opposition coalition.
The party also commended Makinde’s leadership style, stating that his ability to work across political and regional divides positions him as a candidate capable of fostering national unity and stability.
APM urged opposition parties to put aside personal ambitions and work together in building a formidable alliance that can present a credible alternative to Nigerians in the 2027 elections.
The party maintained that the country’s current economic and security challenges require experienced and visionary leadership capable of delivering meaningful reforms and sustainable development.
The Lagos APM reaffirmed its confidence in Makinde’s leadership qualities, expressing optimism that he has the capacity to inspire confidence among Nigerians if he emerges as the opposition’s presidential candidate.
