KWARA RECONCILIATION PANEL SHOULD INCLUDE YOUTHS — APC CHIEFTAIN
An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain has called for the inclusion of young people in the Kwara State APC Reconciliation Committee, saying their participation is essential to strengthening party unity and preparing for future elections.
The party leader argued that youths make up a significant portion of the APC’s membership and should be actively involved in efforts to resolve internal disagreements and promote harmony within the party.
According to him, a reconciliation process that reflects the interests of all stakeholders, including young members, women, and grassroots supporters, will produce more lasting and credible outcomes.
He noted that young people have consistently contributed to the party’s growth through mobilisation, campaigns, and community engagement, making them indispensable to its future success.
The APC chieftain urged the party leadership to adopt an inclusive approach by ensuring that the reconciliation panel represents every segment of the party.
He added that involving youths would not only encourage fresh ideas but also strengthen members’ confidence in the reconciliation process and enhance party cohesion ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The appeal comes amid ongoing efforts by the APC to resolve internal disputes and consolidate its structure in Kwara State.
